Bookstart Around the World
Bookstart is a concept that exists all around the world. In this report we collect relevant research and successful approaches.
Around 30 countries run Bookstart programmes to promote reading amongst the youngest children. As a result, a considerable amount of knowledge and research has been developed through Bookstart and similar book-gifting programmes.
In this report, we present relevant research and successful approaches, to inspire everyone working to promote reading for young children and to help them connect their work with experiences from similar initiatives.
